Recalling the dinners in Trás-os-Montes that used to spread through the night, in tables full of food and stories, the chef takes the same spirit of sharing to Mouraria, in an evening made by friends (with chefs Manuel Maldonado and Salar Kayhan, from 100 Maneiras, also in the kitchen) to be enjoyed amongst friends. The menu, with a cost of 30 euros per person, includes the couvert, ”cozido” broth with pig’s ear and chickpeas, Cabidela from Trás-os-Montes (blood rice) and “A minha aletria” (“my vermicelle”), as well as water, wines and coffee. The dinner has the support of Monte da Ravasqueira, Arroz Bom Sucesso and Amicis Gin and reservations can be made by phone (926520568) or email (vitorhadao@gmail.com).

On November 9th, it is women – or rather, “women with tomatoes” – who will take over the stage at the Ribeira Market. Starting at 6:00 pm, 7 women of reference in the world of Gastronomy, Wine and Bar come together to share their stories and experiences on the feminine perspective of a world where male presence still prevails. Moderating the talk will be Mónica Franco, communication and image consultant of 100 Maneiras, journalist with more than 2 decades of career, author of three published books and documentary filmmaker.
