Ljubomir Stanisic<\/a> won the \u201cChef of the Year 2020\u201d award, given by Revista de Vinhos<\/a>, on February 4, at the annual \u201cBest of the Year\u201d ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a particularly difficult and turbulent year in the restaurant business, Ljubomir Stanisic was considered \u201cChef of the Year\u201d, for having been one of the most heard voices in the sector and for having also achieved a Michelin star for Restaurant 100 Maneiras, in Bairro Alto, Lisbon\u201d, justifies the organization<\/a> of the awards that, this year, were announced online, given the pandemic.<\/p>\n

On social media, Ljubomir thanked the distinction, saying that it is \u201ca privilege and an honor, especially now, after these 365 days that have no possible subtitle. But it is also a lesson: learning that not everything is just bitter or just sweet, not everything is only black and white, not everything can be bad and nothing bad can last forever. Hope is the word that sums up what I feel now. And that alone is so much…! Thank you very much!”<\/p>\n

It should be remembered that, in addition to this award, 2020 also brought the first Michelin star to Restaurant 100 Maneiras<\/a> and to the chef.<\/p>\n
