Christmas is whenever we want and this year we want it for 24 days. With a non-stop party in the three restaurants of the 100 Maneiras group, in the spaces of friends and partners, in the online stores… Anything goes to fill your Christmas stocking with good food, good drinks, good company and good memories. Release the reindeers: the party is about to begin!<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s an advent calendar but, instead of chocolates or other miniature-sized gifts, the idea is to celebrate big time. Lisbon and the world (online) serve as the setting for this calendar where doors and windows open every day to share experiences, offers and surprises outside the box – but in beautiful packages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Discounts on the restaurants\u2019 vouchers<\/a><\/b>, more or less familiar guests behind the bars, artistic events, <\/span>online shopping at festive prices<\/b>, a taste of Hell in Bistro’s kitchen and dining rooms, <\/span>wine events<\/b>, anniversaries, <\/span>special holidays menus<\/b>, offers and more offers\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

There’s a little bit of everything in this 100 Maneiras\u2019 Christmas made with friends to celebrate with friends, of course. Because Christmas is about family, friendship, togetherness, celebration, and that’s what this calendar is made of.<\/span><\/p>\n

This month, we\u2019ll have <\/span>family and parties with a taste of home, at the <\/span>Orthodox Christmas dinner<\/b> with Ljubomir Stanisic<\/a>, at Bistro<\/a>, on the <\/span>5th,\u00a0<\/b>the return of some <\/span>Bistro\u2019s classic dishes<\/b> on <\/span>3\/12, <\/b>Christmas reunions like that of Jorge Camilo and Daniel Zamith, <\/span>historic bartenders<\/b> of the group, who return together to Bistro\u2019s counter<\/a>, on a single night, on <\/span>December 9th<\/b>, for a very special guest shift and <\/span>visits from friends like <\/span>Ant\u00f3nio Ma\u00e7anita<\/span><\/a>, who on <\/span>12\/12<\/b> presents, at Bistro, his Enxarrama 2014, a wine that is a declaration of love for the ancient Alentejo. Or the gallery <\/span>Because Art Matters<\/b><\/a>, which on <\/span>December 20<\/b> takes over the curatorship of Bistro\u2019s walls with a set of pieces on display (and also available for purchase), with a listening session by <\/span>Switchdance.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

There will also be\u00a0collaborations with beloved partners, such as <\/span>Maria Portugal Terracota<\/span><\/a>, a brand from the Portuguese company Villacer (responsible for Carnal’s handmade tableware), which is once again partnering with Carnal<\/a>\u00a0to <\/span>offer all the cocktail<\/a> glasses sold that night on December 19th.\u00a0<\/b>And special guest shifts at the Mexican gastrobar, like on Dec 16<\/strong>, when\u00a0 The Lost Explorer Mezcal brings Bernardo Rodrigues and three cocktails based on The Lost Explorer to <\/span>Carnal<\/span>\u2019s bar.<\/span><\/p>\n

And what Christmas doesn’t get hotter with a visit to Hell? Well, three Wednesdays in December will heat up at Bistro. <\/span>We\u2019ll bring to our kitchen and dining rooms former celebrity contestants<\/b> from the show presented by Ljubomir Stanisic on SIC (like <\/span>Cl\u00e1udia Semedo, Lu\u00eds Louren\u00e7o, Lu\u00edsa Villar, Pedro Granger and Louren\u00e7o Ortig\u00e3o,<\/b> among others), proving that the road to Hell is paved with more than good intentions: on these dates, p<\/span>art of the value of the menus goes to <\/b>Comunidade Vida e Paz<\/b><\/a>, which serves people living on the streets or in situations of social vulnerability.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to this, there will also be a <\/span>special Hell menu<\/b>, with some of the most beloved dishes from the program (all from Bistro\u2019s menu), at devilishly good prices, to try on other dates – because if life lasts two days let us devour it entirely.<\/span><\/p>\n

Is there more? Of course there is. But it’s an advent calendar and so we better keep something to discover. <\/span>Promotions, offers and discounts in the restaurants, at <\/b>chef Ljubomir’s online store<\/b><\/a> and on <\/b>Mesti\u00e7o wines<\/b><\/a>, <\/b>events with art and music, unexpected pop-ups that convert Bistro into a wine cellar open to the public or a \u201cburek shop\u201d – we have it all. Special Santa Claus made in Yugoslavia included.<\/span><\/p>\n
