João Sancheira at Gastronomy Festival in Santarém

Next Tuesday, 25th October, our head bartender, João Sancheira, will be present at Santarém National Gastronomy Festival.

Between 7pm and 10pm, the head bartender from 100 Maneiras group will get his hands on the drinks and make two live cocktails, the first with tequila, the other with mezcal.

Our bartender will talk about the cocktails at Carnal, his creations and inspirations for the menu of the Mexican gastrobar group.

At Carnal, the cocktails shine as brightly as the cuisine.
Here, cocktails based on tequila and mezcal converge kitchen and bar in a gastronomic approach to classic mixology and the flavours of Mexican gastronomy.

João Sancheira took part in the World Class 2021 competition, where he became national champion, achieving the title of Bartender of the Year in Portugal, and reaching the World Top 10.

Born in Caldas da Rainha, he belonged to 100 Maneiras team between 2017 and 2019. And in 2021 he returned home, as head bartender of the group to make magic behind the bar again.
