THE STAR KEEPS SHINING AT 100
On November 22 2022, 100 Maneiras restaurant won its Michelin Star for the third year. We received it with the same enthusiasm like we it was our first time. Our heart is full of joy, we feel this like a recognition of our hard work, full of energy to do more, do even better. It’s a journey of more than a decade in Portuguese gastronomy and we’re super happy to be here.
Porque este espaço aberto há quase 4 anos no número 39 na Rua do Teixeira não é “só” um restaurante, é história de vida(s): de Ljubomir Stanisic e de muitas outras, de todas (tantas…!) que cabem, couberam e caberão dentro destas paredes que se forram a pedra e veludo, a ruína e luxo.
100 is, above all, part of its owners life story (Ljubomir Stanisic, Nelson Santos and Nuno Faria), who invested in a business of a considerable scale without a support network, but also of others who thought this life project with them, like Manuel Maldonado, executive chef, and Mónica Franco, creative director of the group and also Ljubomir’s wife, author of his books and director of the documentary film “Ljubomir Stanisic: Heartbeat”.
100 is flesh and blood…made of people like Hugo Marques Amaro and João Miguel Esteves, HAJE architects who helped the project to be born, designed and adapted it. People like Nini Andrade Silva, the interior designer from Madeira island who took the ideas and the concept to every inch of the decoration, joining the feeling of “Decadentism” to the Fantastic, and put it in a place where the dream becomes matter of the real.
People like Gil Correia, André Sentieiro and other elements of Partners creative agency, who read thoughts and created the new graphic identity, joining uniqueness and irony, contemporaneity and nature. Or Mário Matos Ribeiro, founder of ModaLisboa and Fashion professor (that recently passed away), who created the uniforms in organic linens, at the same time minimal and multicultural, dispensing words to explain them.
100 Maneiras is blood, hot blood that runs crazy through our veins, and fills up our heart and soul.
