Back to Bistro

Bistro doors reopened on 12.03.2022 It took five long months of renovation works, of changes, to bring a new life into every corner of this house. It is the rebirth of what has become a classic restaurant in Lisbon, opened in 2010 in a building with many, many decades of history. It was an opportunity…

In the distant year of 2022, @ljubostanisic, @thelegendarytigerman and @nunoffaria went "On The Road", to feel the heartbeat of a very special Portugal. A Portugal of people who create new things using what is already old, of those who keep traditions alive with new tools, of people who persist, insist and don't give up despite adversity - and that conquered this trio with the love they put in everything they do (and with some wine and food too 😜). All the episodes are still available on @opto.sic, @sic's streaming platform. Sounds like a plan for the weekend!

Aceitam o teste?! 😜

/ XOXO is love for sustainability in a sauce. Inspired by the original XO sauce recipe (shallot, garlic, ginger, Chinese rice wine, dried scallops and shrimp) we replaced the seafood with crickets and grubs. Are you willing to accept the challenge?! 😜

Tufahija is a traditional Bosnian dessert. The word "tufahija" itself comes from the Arabic "tuffaha", which means apple. This is a baked apple with dried fruit and a sweet syrup. At Bistro we serve it with a vanilla ice cream. Please make sure you have your seat belt on!
